An American Tea & Bake shop

Every Sunday I serve afternoon tea at Sulimay's, a diner in the Fishtown section of Philadelphia. In the morning I have a bake sale outside the diner. The idea came about because I always wanted my own business and I got tired of having my life decided by other people. Baking is something I've always loved to do, so this seemed like a good idea. And so far it has been.

I call it An American Tea because I don't want people thinking they will find a fancy English style tea. My tea is an american take on afternoon tea. Here is a copy of my menu.

Since I was doing a lot of baking for the Tea, it seemed like a good idea to have the bake sale. The bake sale is from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Then I go inside to get ready for the Tea, which is from 3:00 till 6:00.
